Al Davis is a sucker for receivers with speed and stone hands, lets unload Ginn for the whole Raiders defensive line. Al will bite in a minute and as a consolation, the way that Al works, we'll get Ashmougha at cornerback!

Jason Allen has been a great contributor on special teams and provides depth to the defensive backfield.  I think the kid's got skills to play his position.  I think Ginn's got skills too, but needs to be in wide open space to use them.  I think his problem is that he is too worried about getting hit and any little jostling causes him to drop the ball.
Me think thou hast given Allen waay too much credit. It not like our special teams is great to begin with and then when your talents are somtimes a decent special teams player .... that certainly doesn't add up to much.

Ginn is untradeable, because of his contract (and because he sucks).  You don't just get the player, you get the debt, as well.

The Raiders aren't that stupid.

I'd start with Channing Crowder (Yeah had to throw in a little Haterade on Channing),Then Right tackle Vernon Carey.Ginn, and Jason Allens after that...

What have you got against Carey?  The O-line's been performing, Lil B.  He's been a load in the running game, and he's at least above average on pass protections (in my opinion)

Yes - they are.

Then, by all means, trade Ginn.

I don't hate Carey like I do Ginn, and Crowder....Vernon Carey is inconsistent,He's good run blocker for a quarter or half, but is getting beat in pass coverage, then better in pass coverage not as dominant in his run blocking....He's never been that roadgrade tackle, and this years he's suddenly improved, which makes me wonder Donald Thomas is a really good run blocker ,average pass protector...If Thomas is making Carey look better in the run game, and Hurting him in the pass game....To me 6 year 42 million dollar contract for a solid RT is too much....(Yeah the media said it was probably just a little more than market value,to keep him  Undecided ) I admit, he doesn't jump offside constaly,or get called for holding....

Vernon Carey, really?  there is an piece in an article on ESPN insider that says how great Miamis tackles are that they can have a running game with no vertical threat whatsoever.
