F$U sucks!!!!!!!

That dolphin fans are imploring the colts to try and go undefeated when that's a record dolphin fans cherish the most. Let's be real dolphin fans you only care because it could potentially affect you. If the jets were 4-10 nobody would be bitching  about the colts pulling their starters. It's not the colts job the make sure other teams make the playoffs.

The dolphins like every other mediorce fraud behind the top 4 had every opportunity to control their own destiny. It's not the colts fault the dolphins have lost 2 in a row. The colts didn't get outscored 51-6 in the first half of the last 2 games. Before you start throwing stones at the colts look in the mirror. If you don't make the playoffs blame yourselves, not the colts!!. The colts have one obligation that's to their organization, not this B.S. Integrity of the game.

I was hoping the Colts did pull their starters and that the Jets won.

Even if the Dolphins did back into the playoffs (which wasn't going to happen, even if the Jets lost, most likely), it's not like we were going to do anything.  The Dolphins had their chance and didn't do it.

Personally, I don't find the unbeaten record to be as exciting anymore. The Dolphins are 2-3 in Super Bowls which is a poor average. I'd rather have those Super Bowl trophies from 71, 82 and 84 than an undefeated season.

I did not see a single post by a Dolphins fan saying they hoped the Colts would go undefeated.  Everyone was just surprised at the way they gave it away.

Why does everyone say stuff like this?  It makes no sense.  It's not like the undefeated season cost us the Super Bowl years later...

It's not like you have to choose between going undefeated in the 70s and winning a Super Bowl a decade later.

What they are saying Dave is that if they could trade the 1972 undefeated season (go 15-2 or 16-1 instead of 17-0) and in exchange get Super Bowls from 1981 and 1984, they would make that trade so that they could look back and see more Super Bowl trophies in their trophy case.

They would be willing to give up a 1972 "undefeated season" for a few more SB Championships, if such a trade was possible. It's another way of saying "We care a hell of a lot more about Championships (and the lack thereof) than we do about the 1972 season".

Yeah, but you can't trade that.  I'd trade 2 wins against the Jets for winning the division, but it didn't happen.

We don't have to trade anything.  We won in 1972 -- forever, no matter what else happens.  That doesn't mean that we have to trade it for things happening later.

I made some comments and clearly some people didn't read them.

I hate the Jets, its no secret.  My comments had nothing to do with the Colts going undefeated - I couldn't care less.  My comments also had nothing to do with the Dolphins or their playoff chances - they blew it and they don't deserve playoffs.  My comments had EVERYTHING to do with the Jets making the playoffs because their schedule has 2 teams in the last two weeks laying down, when other teams like Denver, Houston, and Baltimore are BUSTING their ASSES every week and scratching and clawing to get in.

The Jets don't deserve the playoffs.  That's why I'm upset that the Colts laid down.  Not because I want the Dolphins to get in.

(now can we stop talking about 1972 please?)

Gocowboys I am glad you usually find a way to show up when your teams are in the midst of winning streaks. Now that the Gators got the smack down and the Cowboys won a few games you are back in the mix flapping your gums about everyone else.

At least I come in and talk shit all year 'round.

Good luck in the playoffs with that coach, buddy. The fold is inevitable. I don't give 2 shits whether Dallas beats Philly this week or not. It doesn't matter where Philly plays you because they are going to thrash the Cowgirls by at least 3 scores cpme playoff time when Andy Reid and that coaching staff embarrass that Dallas farce. I am hoping the Cowboys win this week, get homefield, and hopefully Philly again in the wildcard round at home so I can see the implosion.

I was hoping that the Colts would have done it under Tony Dungy and maybe thats why all of this happened.

As long as a football team wins with class, it deserves to go undefeated. I think that its going to be done within the next ten years and once done, it will happen frequently.

I am glad that Dallas will make the playoffs as now they can get stuck with that shit coaching staff for a few more years of mediocrity and an occasional whiff of SB glory by making the playoffs here and there.

You think I give a damn about you. Shouldn't you be in donko land practicing the heimlich manuever on that choking team of yours. Your team is the biggest fraud in the league. I'm glad the little punk, wannabe belichick Josh Mcdummy is folding like a cheap tent. He was pumping his fist like he won the super bowl after he beat new England, Moron!! After you guys are officially eliminated on Sunday I heard the social security office will be open extra hours for your defensive backfield!! 6-0 to no playoffs...ain't life good!! Happy holidays chokers!!

You must have forgotten about my "choking team" kicking your teams ass this year on national television. Dallas is Denver's bitch. I remember Ron friggen' Dayne dancing to the endzone the last time we smacked the 'girls around on Thanksgiving. Pure comedy.

Nobody gives a shit about Dallas because they are irrlevant. Come playoff time your puppet coach will be on the sidelines with his head buried in his hands like a helpless little school girl.  I've seen so many times this season already.

Dallas has the biggest bandwagon on the planet.
