Simpson movie was good.  But they had the same cast.

I don't know what movie you were watching.  Simpson movie was horrible.

My luck they'd cast Jessica Simpson, or Britney Spears as Mary Anne... Angry

I don't think this is a good fit.  Maryanne is supposed to be the girl next door.  ...and I don't know where you live, but nobody like Megan Fox lives anywhere near me.

I think that you need a softer beauty....maybe Katie Holmes-ish.

Meagan is a great idea IMO......and she is from my county. Actually arrested in 2001 for shoplifting from wallmart once. The arresting Officers brag about it constantly...... Roll Eyes her sister lives here and is amazing as well I hear.......

Stroke- I was also thinking John Goodman for the Skipper.

How about Megan Fox for Maryanne?

I thought he was a bit old for the part but the Skipper was kinda old wasn't he? he would be perfect. Isn't Shatner past his due date?

Megan Does it for me!!

I think Ginnifer Goodwin and John Godman would be perfect.

She cannot act and would be considered too hot to be Maryann. I think the guy from the Mentalist would be good too as the professor. John Goodman would own the Skipper.
How about Jefferey Tamborne for Mr Howe

He may be a little too old, but how about Ian Abercrombie for Mr. Howell? You may know him better as Elaine's boss Mr. Pitt on Seinfeld. Or maybe another former boss of Elaine's- John O'Hurley (J. Peterman)?

You kidding? Mary Ann was just as Hot as Ginger. Maybe even Hotter. Always wearing those short tight shorts and center Tied little shirts........man put me on a desert Island with her and I'm never leaving!

This guy , D.J. Quails would also make a great Gilligan:

I don't get the Meagan Fox thing. For some reason ... she never looks as good as she did in the first movie.

Mary Ann was hot because she seemed so wholesome and natural to the fake Ginger. Megan Fox cannot pull that off. Megan could definately be Ginger if she were a redhead.

Never know what the writers have in store though. Look at the approach to the Brady Bunch movie. They flipped the table and made them nasty. I can't see Gilligan doing well if they leave it completely True to form. Its needs an edge.
