Time for the lamest sporting event of the year.....

Here we are once again one days away from the lamest, most unsuccessful sporting event ever conceived -- March Madness.  Despite the obvious flaws the this system and the superior model offered by the BCS, the NCAA is stubbornly sticking to this weak and poorly conceived system.

Flaw 1.  Takes too long.  The entire thing should be able to be completed in a single weekend.

Flaw 2. Teams have to play multiple games....who want to watch the same 'effen team play up to 6 games?  One game is plenty.

Flaw 3. No parades.   Damn it what hell is college sports if we don't have a parade involving flowers.  We need a god damn carnations parade or is that lilacs or maybe roses...I don't care....but we need a parade involving flowers! 

Flaw 4. The games need names.  Cool names too.  Like the Summers Eve Bowl or Chick-fil-A Bowl or the Tampax bowl. 

Flaw 5. No computers.  Let Kentucky play Duke and Kansas play Syracuse...feed the scores and the rest of the season's schedule into a computer and let the computer declare a national champion.  Under this stupid system is is conceivable that an undeserving team like Baylor could get hot and become the national champion despite not being one of the elite teams during the regular season.
