He didn't even get to play against Jax.  The question is, will he be gone with the first cuts or final cuts?

My guess is it will be with the first round of cuts to give him a chance to find another team before the season starts.

^ Seems likely.

If he's not even getting playing time in pre-season, they won't waste time keeping him around.  I don't think we're going to carry 4 QBs unless White is going to contribute heavily with wildcat or special teams.

It will be the last cuts.  I would be surprised if they weren't shopping him for a deal.  Maybe pull a 7th rounder for him.  Wasted pick yes, but a 7th rounder is better than nothing.

Either that or maybe he can sign on with the practice squad.

No one will trade a pick for him, because most teams will assume he is going to get cut anyway.
And no dice on practice squad:
Practice Squad Eligibility
According to league policy, only certain types of players are allowed to sign to the practice squad. Players cannot have played more than nine regular season games or been on the active roster for an entire year, nor can players be allowed to spend more than two seasons on the same team's squad unless that team's active roster never dips below 53 players.

I doubt a team will even sign him when he is cut.

I stopped watching about halfway through the 4th quarter.  Did White even get in the game?

Yes, but only for a series I believe.  He did complete a pass, his 1st in the NFL?

Actually it was 4 passes.  So I guess it's time to wake up? Smiley

He still has not completed a pass in the NFL.

A QB could throw 100 TDs in a single game in the preseason and not one of them would go into the record books.

Okay you are right, I guess  it would not be premature for me to book my tickets to Canton for his induction ceremony after his phenomenal series that ended in a punt while playing against players that in two weeks will be applying for jobs at UPS.

White's contract is worth around $4.5 million and includes $2.4 million in guaranteed money. I think he will be just fine compared to the rest of us.
