Not a big deal, but my prediction for this year was actually 8-8, not 7-9.    See page 2 of this thread.

Fixed... with the result that NO ONE has a prediction down for a losing season.

Average prediction is 9.7 wins.

Ah...I didn't read the text.   Just saw the numbers.  Had I read the text, I would have left you off entirely as being one of those hedges, (better than 7-9 is not an exact prediction)....but okay we can call that 8-8.

Bro, I think you confused me with someone else.  My post said "I'm going to make my official prediction as the Fins having an 8-8 season."   With the huge cash prize hanging on this topic, I want to make sure I am very clear in my prediction.

Shameless brag alert!!   I got it right last year in this poll when I predicted them going 7-9.  But I think I'm going to wait til closer to the start of the regular season before I take a stab at this year's record.   I think the team is a little better and the schedule should be more cooperative than last year.  So I definitely think they will have a better record than last year.

Ah, now I understand.  You were looking at my first post where I said that I wasn't going to make a prediction til closer to the start of the season.  No biggie, we just got our wires crossed.
