I don't know why you're stuck on me being against cops enforcing law.  I never said anything about that.  I think the laws themselves are stupid.

I understand that, but the laws themselves are in place, for now.  That's why he got arrested.  Seems pretty cut and dry.

Laws aren't cut and dry.  That's why we have judges and law enforcement to exercise judgment.  Pleas get made, deals get done, charges are dropped all the time.

I understand, I guess I misunderstood your comment, as a complaint about arresting a guy for weed" as opposed to "weed being an arrestable offense"
