I wanted to see solid depth at DB (someone other than Jason Allen) so the 2 that stand out to me are Amaya and Ness,  I was excitied from what I saw when they were on the field (along with Carrol and Jones), maybe they'll come to the practice squad

I thought Rolly Lumbala played well in the preseason, but he had no hope of beating out Polite for the job, and they weren't about to keep 2 FB's.  I hope we can keep him around too.

Donald Thomas is the biggest surprise, IMHO. From starting 12 games last season to cut... And this is a young player at a spot I don't consider a strength for the team.

More news from camp:

Dolphins were awarded four players off waivers today, defensive end Clifton Geathers, offensive linemen Jermey Parnell and Joe Reitz and defensive end Robert Rose. The team also terminated the contracts of defensive end Marques Douglas, defensive end Charles Grant and guard Cory Procter. Miami also placed cornerback Will Allen on Injured Reserve.

I'm not at all surprised that Turner is on this list.  He was kind of a fan favorite, but the guy could never get on the field.

Donald Thomas is a mauler in run blocking but a major liability in pass protection.
