I'm thinking we're gonna resign him Monday or Tuesday....With the uncapped year, there is something about if a player is on the roster week 1,the year's salary is guaranteed...they can resign him Tuesday for less money....

I would think that possible reasons would include:
Berger beat him out for starting spot and the Fins didn't want to spend that kind of money on a backup.
Tired of his injury prone self.
Blatant salary dump.

I would agree with the first two but not the last one.  I don't think he's coming back.  Proctor can play all three interior line positions.  Grove can't play guard.
