Some of my favorite movies, tend to have those things in the beginning of the movie, that turn  out not to be so bad,or even an allie near the end of the movie....

It seems like with kids today, there are anti bulling rules at school, scary houses are condemned, and torn down pretty fast, and creepy people get the police called on them as suspected child molesters....I always loved the "myths,or legends " of those old houses, and creepy people....

So when you were growing up, who was your neighborhood bully? Was there any scary houses?Creepy people? How about that mean old man that used to yell at you for everything? (I'm turning into that guy in my neighborhood  Cheesy )

I was pretty tiny as a kid, so "everyone" seemed like the school bully until I got to HS, at which point my older brother started acting like an older brother and didn't let folks pick on me too much.

Scariest person in the neighborhood...the old lady who shot me with rock salt from the rocking chair on her back porch while I was heading to the Sacred Heart dance.

Not really any scary houses...though there were several historical places that people said were haunted.

We didn't have a neighborhood bully. We were all pretty cool with each other. In school there were plenty of bullies though. I never really was picked on, except for one kid in the sixth grade. It didn't last long.

The scariest house was one we actually encountered in college. It was around the corner from my house and my roomates and I played basketball there because it had a paved court and glass backboard with a breakaway rim. The odd thing was the house was completely abandoned but the court and yard were perfectly kept. We decided to enter the house one day and found it was completely furnished (but wrecked). It looked like someone left in a hurry. There were papers with names on them, furniture, clothes, everything you could imagine. One person said some of the school papers (elementary) had the name of one of our college mates on it, but I didn't know the name so I don't know if true.

I was kind of the anti bully growing up....

Terrorizing dog....
When I lived on the farm as a kid,the neighbors cattle dog, hated my 4 wheeler and would chase me the length of his property. It was horrendous, because his propert was on the corner, you'd think you'd make it by,turn left, and the dog would come out of no where, and try to nip at your feet,or tires.....

Scary house/places ....I have 2...
1.) When My mom and step dad got married,They bought an old two story house, and decided to fix it up.Across the street was similar styled two story house, that had been abandoned, the upper window glass broken out,the lower windows and doors boarded up,always over grown. When my mom got custody of me,it was late fall, and there were three large oak trees in the front yard, which were right out the front window of my bedroom...Early the following spring my stepdad cut down the middle tree, that's when the house creeped me out, because it was a it was a funny old Prell shampoo green color, when the street light would hit it, it seemed to glow...Between seeing that through the windows at night, and Poltergiest, where the old tree tried to eat the kid....I slept in the floor of my walk in closet for a few years....

2.)When I was on the farm,A few miles up the road got national attention about the kid killed himself,Rock music caused him to worship the devil, and then killed himself...Geraldo did a prime time special on and used the story, and had Ozzy, and other heavy metal artists on...When my mom started working nights, behind our property there were huge chat piles, and old mining things. After the story, I'd see people walking around out there, campfires, people trying to be devil worshippers, and there were constant rumors about the things people were doing.....
