Probably because he's the longest-tenured Dolphin.  He's the only guy on the roster to have played for 4 different head coaches...

and Ricky HIRED Drew Rosenhaus this past summer.

Me thinks Ricky will be Drew's voice in the Dolphins lockeroom and maybe the union. Drew will tell him what to tell the boys in the lockerroom and tell him what is best for them $$$ wise. From a big-time agents point of view
