He absolutely did not open the can of worms.  Whomever asked the question opened the can of worms.  That's what reporters do.  Should Taylor have been smart enough not to bite on the question?  Perhaps.  And perhaps a bit of Taylor did want to answer the question.  Still he answered it in a way that showed a lot of restraint in my opinion.  He's a class act.  Stop trying to make him into an ogre.

He wanted to sign a contract BEFORE the draft.  That means he remains a Dolphin in either a starting or backup role regardless of what happens on draft day.  Dolphins were the ones who were only going to sign him if the draft didn't result in his replacement.

That makes the move Genius...Jason Ended the season with a total of 7 sacks,then didn't get surgery right after the season ended (when the front office asked)....Patients is a two way street,30 other teams didn't offer Jason a contract,before the draft,and the Dolphins didn't owe him shit....

Neither side owes the other anything.  It's a business decision.  The team didn't give Jason what he want, so he decided to leave.  Fine.

But I'm deciding not to be his fan any more, because I don't like his decision to go play with our fiercest rival.  He doesn't have to like the organization, but to go play for the Jets is a slap in the face to his old fans.
