I miss Ted Ginn

The fact that we are 2-1 and the team he was traded to has made him inactive while going 0-3 tells me all I need to know about the terrible decision our front office made. If he is that much of a commodity, why isn't he playing in San Fran, after they traded a pick to get him. Sounds like a terrible move by their front office if you ask me.

^^ all due respect, Phish, but come on.  Be real.  You're saying that Ted Ginn is the difference maker for three wins?  It couldn't be that the Niners are just not as good as a team? 

Lots of factors go into 0-3 - far more than Ted Ginn has control over.

Just because the Lions are 0-3 doesn't mean I wouldn't want to have Calvin Johnson on my team...

I don't understand the sentiment,and knowing he was deactivated because of a knee that he hurt in week one...Let's see,if he was a Dolphin that means,he wouldn't have helped us against the Vikings or the Jets..... So why is this being discussed?

Not what I'm saying at all. What I'm saying is he is on a less talented team, which you apparently agree with, and he can't make the active roster there. If he can't play for them why would we, with what I consider more talent, want to save a spot for him?

OOPS, I didn't realize he was inactive due to injury. I quit paying attention to him some time ago. I thought the Niners just didn't dress him. Never mind my point.

I realize you are discussing his return ability so I will follow by saying that the guy was feast or famine and rarely was there a feast.

This.  Sure Ginn would break a long one every once in a while, but when he didn't take it to the house he would get knocked off his feet easily or just run out of bounds and that would put us in a hole usually inside the 20.  Yeah Cobbs isn't going to break any for a TD, but he's better at consistently getting outside the 20 and he does have the ability to get out to mid field about as often as Ginn would get one in the endzone.

Gotcha!  Knowing now what I know you didn't know, your post makes a lot more sense now!

Ginn can't play. He had a couple big moments (all happen to be in 3 games vs the Jets) but the guy can't play. Can't catch the ball. As a kick returner he doesn't make quick decisions and 2 runbacks in 1 game doesn't change that.

My mind was set on Ted Ginn when he was at Ohio State and left the game after the opening kickoff to never return. The guy didnt even try to come out an be a decoy. He has no heart.

he actually was pretty hurt on that play from getting piled on in the celebration. I can't knock him for that
