The Dolphins are the first team in history to give up a TD in all five of these unique ways in the same game ...

1. rushing
2. passing
3. kick return
4. interception
5. blocked fg

that's one of those "records" .. that really don't matter .. it's like a pitcher setting a record because he's the first to strike out 8 batters in a day game after 2pm that was rained out in the 7th while he was wearing knee high socks

^^^^ This is true.

Only thing that really matters is the W's and L's.

Speaking of which along with the Pats setting the record for uniques ways to score a TD in a game, Brady was the fastest QB to reach 100 wins.

100 Wins--Fastest QB Starts. The fastest quarterbacks to 100 wins in the Super Bowl era (since 1966):

131: Tom Brady, N.E.
139: Joe Montana, S.F.
147: T. Bradshaw, Pitt.
153: Brett Favre, G.B.
154: P. Manning, Ind.
157: Marino Mia and Kelly Buf

He has a lot of wins because he has a good/great team around him.  Put him on the Lions and he would not have 100 wins.  Not even close.

It is a team sport.   But the season that Tom Brady lead the Patriots to their first superbowl win was after Pro-bowler Drew Bledsoe let the the team to an 0-2 start after 5-11 season the year before.

Team goes 5-13 with one QB (considered good enough to go to the pro-bowl 4 times) then the only change made is at QB and the team goes 11-3 and wins the SB.  You have to say the new QB had a lot to do with it.

Terrific.  Now if only we could have managed to give up a 2 point conversion, a safety, a fumble return for TD and a punt return for TD and a Drop Kick, we'd have covered all the ways you can score in one game Tongue
