2011 NFC East Champions!

Tony Sparano.

I have seen enough of Tony Sparano. The Dolphins lost this game due to completely ridiculous clock-management and time-out management (or, lack thereof). You just had a 5 minute stoppage in play to review the fumble into the end zone by the QB, which made it 4th down. WHY THE HELL DO YOU BLOW YOUR LAST TIMEOUT before an obvious FG attempt of 19 yards?

Poor preparation, poor team management, poor 3-3 team.

Sparano is not an NFL caliber football coach.

Gene Skeretor

He is one of the NFL's top young officials, and did a phenomenal job in explaining why the Dolphins could not get possession of that fumble. It was not 100% clear that the Dolphins recovered (and as Dierdorf astutely pointed out, you can't simply show the fans the ball a minute after the whistle blows - that's not enough to determine that you did in fact recover the fumble).

So, your whole point is taking a TO to reset the team after a bad call, is the reason why Sporano isn't a NFL head coach?
Good luck defending that.

you shouldn't blow the whistle on contested fumbles .. that's what replay is for .. let them get a possession and then make a call on the field .. horrible officiating

The ref at the end who should have said it was a touchback as multiple dolphins were on the ball before any steeler got there. But, it would have to be the secondary for all of those 3rd and long conversions.

hell, you should replay every pile up on a fumble recovery because there is no way to tell who actually recovers the ball until they emerge from the pile with the ball.

Yeah. I've NEVER heard that call before. They usually give it to the first who falls on it, or whoever comes up with it. I love how the whistle blew as soon as the ball came out.

I nominate whoever on ST who got burned on the Steelers return.

Only Dolphins players are eligible for the goat trailer.

I choose Ronnie Brown for a generally ineffective day, especially when compared to our other RBs.

Ah yes JTex the angsty drama queen finds fault because the refs made a call I have never seen used in any level of football in the almost 30 years I have been watching it.
How pathetic is your life that you have to continually have to go to other teams lives and do nothing but talk crap.
