You hit the nail on the head here. His offense is built around running the ball, solid defense and field position. It's NOT built around attacking through the air. The Dolphins defense has done a decent job in stopping opponents from scoring, but it comes up short in one key statistic, turnovers. Miami is tied for 29th in takeaways. This type of offense might work on a different team, but it hasn't worked for this one.
