Chad Henne.  What a superstar.  I like that the rose colored glasses toward this qb are finally coming off.  Cut his ass this week.

How convenient for you to come back to the site after this game.  Sadly, I have to agree with him being SOTG.

henne sucks big time...

maybe the dolphins will figure it out sometime in the next decade that they need a real starting caliber qb in order to be relevant again.

I agree with it being Henne.  I think the guy has the physical tools, but he just hasn't mentally progressed.  I think that we need to look in a new direction -- Henne has come as far as he's going to.

Why is it Henne if I might ask? Neither interception was his fault and other than that he played well. The new tight end ran the wrong route and Bess fell down.

Gotta tell ya guys, without Henne Miami would have lost anyway.  He WAS the offense thru 3 quarters.

How about the vaunted defense that made Shawn Hill look good.  They gave up TD's on drives of 80 and 86 yards and a 53 yard TD.  If the Defense doesn't give up that 53 yard TD and Miami actually had a running game to speak of, Henne isn't back there trying to throw late in the 4th quarter.  We sure are quick to jump on the offense when they only score 13 points, but on a day when the offense actually puts up enough points to win the D gives up enough points to lose.

And lets not forget the special teams that coughed up 2 fumbles of their own.  There's plenty of blame to throw around.

Neither of the last 2 games are on Henne alone.  The special teams and defense get the assist.

No offense and all due respect but that's what I keep hearing from people all year. It ain't Henne's fault the receiver fell down/ran the wrong route/didn't fight for the ball. My question is, when is it Henne's fault. The fact of the matter is that the INTs go on Henne's stats for a reason. He threw the ball so he is responsible for the interception, just like every other QB in the league. Also, he seems to play well for 1-3 quarters in every game but you have to play the whole game !!!

Well according to Sparano Henne had one of his best days as a Dolphins starter, so I guess the coaches don't look at it that way.

You blame him when it's obviously his fault. You can't blame him when a receiver gets hit in the breadbasket and tips it up, or when the receiver falls down. You blame Henne when there is a LB he didn't see and threw it right to him. It's very simple. Yeah, he's made some bad throws and INTs that are his fault, but there is a lot of blame on the WRs and TEs as well. Heck, even Bess said it was his fault on the pick. He said he fell down out of the cut, you can't blame Henne for that.

I think he checks down too much.  This was most apparent during the last play of the game, where he checked down to a 0 yard pass, in bounds.

He doesn't seem to have a handle on the situational aspects of the game.  He never takes his shots.  He seems to lack field vision, in general.  I feel that he is incapable of making a play, when it's not totally drawn up.  If everything is not perfect, there is no chance of positive yardage.

When you throw the ball to where you reciever is supposed to be and he falls down and the LB picks it for 6, that is not totally the qb's fault. Just as if the reciever tips the ball to a db.
No one is saying Henne is a great qb, but you cannot blame the whole game on him because of a pick when his reciever fell down.

I think he is coached that way as he didn't do that last year. Look at the Bucs game from last year. It was a perfect example of him taking chances with the lead and it cost us. He then went on to pass us back down the field for a victory. That showed mental toughness and a strong arm to make those throws in the final minute.  He never looked like that this year? i have to think he is doing exactly what he has been taught.

Seeing as how he has obviosly regressed I would not loose him until someone else had a chance to work with him. I don't see us selling the farm for a QB right now so I would certainly go into next year with him and see what happens.

The last play (which shouldn't have been the last play) was absolutely inexcusable. He has absolutely no football sense whatsoever.  He just seems to dense to read a defense, or study film, or have anything but a very vanilla playbook to decipher.

I wonder what will it ever take for people to realize Henne is not good.   Three terrible performances in three must win games at home against three of the worst teams in the league should be enough proof.
