Looks like Ricky has played his final game for the Fins.

Impending free agent Ricky Williams criticized Dolphins coach Tony Sparano during a radio spot Monday, and reiterated that he doesn't intend to return to Miami in 2011.

Williams called Sparano a "micromanager," and said the third-year coach "lost the locker room" at the end of the season. The 33-year-old running back also expressed frustration with his role, which is arguably warranted considering he outproduced Ronnie Brown for much of the year. Despite past claims he would retire after the season, Williams says he'd like to "have a chance to play a lot and be a part of something big next year (elsewhere)."

Ricky also threw Henne and Marshall under the bus

When asked about the main difference between the Patriots and Dolphins, he replied, “They have a quarterback.” Chad Henne finished the season with 15 touchdowns and 19 interceptions and was benched twice.

And he was critical of Brandon Marshall for the way he spoke and acted negatively toward Henne in recent weeks.

And the knife in the back...

“I like watching the Jets play,” he said. “Because of LT. I’m an LT fan. And I like the fact that the Jets run the ball.”

I find it funny. Ricky was upset Wannstedt used him too much. Now Ricky is upset that Sparano didn't use him enough.

Ricky might be back smoking again. He is making no sense

I think the micromanaging thing Ricky says makes a ton of sense. This is the single biggest thing that Henne apoligists have used to explain his decline this year.

I am what is considered a tough coach and I can tell you there is a complete breakdown when people start playing scared to make a mistake. You can't cross the line between playing disciplined and playing afraid to make mistakes.  Once the player starts playing scared they will regress every single time.

He hinted at two team he would like to play for -- neither will make Dolfans happy -- Patriots and Jets.

Jets are pretty crowded at RB as it is, with most of their guys under contract for next year. Only Tony Richardson is a FA.  Most of the Patriots RBs are FA, the only one who is not is Woodhead.

My initial feelings first...Fuck you Ricky...Go fuck yourself....Tough shit, because they didn't walk in and give you a hug everyday? Get some class,no matter the opinions of this franchise, you don't deserve to wear that emblem...you're part of the tarnish on the logo...

Ok, Now my logical side, bye bye....Personally I didn't want you back,I've not been a fan of yours since you came back...I feel, Honestly the R&R stuff was bullshit....You wanted all the glory, but none of the blame,Ronnie kept the spotlight off of you...No one talks about Ricky, and Ricky pouting as he walks  back to the side line...

I love Ricky.  He speaks his mind.  He didn't do it during the regular season because that would be undermining the orginization, but now that the season is over, if you really want to know what the problems are according to Ricky, just ask.  He'll tell you.

Sparano,  Henne, Marshall.  Yeah those guys and a lot of other guys too.  Other than Cameron Wake, I was not impressed with a single Dolphin player this year and that includes Jake Long but probably because he was playing hurt for a large part of it.  A total failure like that suggests the problems start at the top.  The very top.  From Bill Parcells on down, 2010 was a disaster.

And now we get to watch all of it sans Parcells again in 2011.  I can't wait.  Maybe a work stoppage isn't such a bad thing afterall.

WTF? Long was great this year. The lone bright spot on our offensive line. I re-watched quite a few games looking specifically at o-line play and he was pretty much flawless.

As for being impressed... Karlos Dansby impressed the hell out of me. Best player on the team, IMHO. He cleaned up behind the leaky d-line like nobody's business. Even did well in coverage.

u really notice the drop-off in player abilities when dansby is out and crowder is left to fend for himself.

ricky is such a douche its not even funny... he's honest, and speaks his mind to folks that are willing to pay him for that access. for ricky, it's me, me, me, i, i , i. he's just trying to make a buck now on the way out, and hoping he gets a new contract with someone now to pay for all those kids he has. hey ricky, i thought this was your last year and you were going to retire?

what a freaking coward you are ricky. why not be a man about things and express your feelings to the people you have problems with face to face.

As far as Ricky's comments, I tend to agree with him.

On being used improperly:  both he and Ronnie Brown were completely underused this year.  Both have reputations as grinders who get bigger chunks of yards as games wear on and defenses tire, but often only got token carries in the first half and almost nothing in the second.

On Sparano being overbearing:  Yeah, I can definitely see this.  Players have been hinting at this all season, explaining how Sparano always has something to say to you when you come off the field, and that no one escapes his criticism.  I could see that becoming too much as the season wears on.

On admiring LT and the Jets:  Why not?  LT's the best RB of his generation.  Why wouldn't Ricky admire him?  Why wouldn't Ricky be jealous that the Jets and Pats could become successful so quickly and remain successful for a long period of time, respectively?  Especially since he's been stuck in neutral for his entire career on a team that just cannot seem to improve?

On only speaking to the media when paid:  Why not?  His post-it contract's a joke, he may still be on the hook to Huizenga for $8 Million or whatever it was, and he's got a bunch of kids.  I'm not saying all that's someone else's fault, I'm just saying I don't fault the guy for maximizing his revenue while he's still relevant.

I'm no fan of Ricky Williams.  I've distrusted him ever since his "retirement".  But I'm not going to slam him just because, either.  To me, he spoke the truth.

you got that right, he came in did his job and never opened his mouth like someone else that plays the LB position.  I thought he was a great pick-up in the off-season.  I'd take 10 others like him on DEF.

Alright, I'll give you that Dansby was pretty good too, forgot about him since he's been out the last couple games.  Long was not great.  He was good, but not as dominant as in the past, I attribute that to him being hurt.  Bright spot on this offensive line is not saying much.

...and WTF? Has anyone been to the anti-fins section lately? Ricky's just expressed everything that most of us have been bitchin' about all year. Henne sucks, Sparano sucks and Marshall's a douche. Ya'll get pissy at the strangest things. Ok...
