I just saw this and couldn't believe my eyes - http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6012246

I realize this is not for a head coaching position, but still.  I've always been of the opinion that as a coordinator, Wanny's success was really due to JJ.  I view Wannstedt in the same light as Matt Millen - an ass clown that shouldn't be allowed to watch a game, let alone coach or comment on one.

I agree completely...on both Wanny and Millen.

That said, look at the teams that might have interest in the Wannstache: Carolina, Cleveland and Buffalo... Would someone crack a window? Just typing those three teams in one sentence has caused my keyboard to reek like week-old roadkill.

Maybe this isn't so bad after all.......if he goes to Buffalo.  Honestly, I think Wannstedt is a bumbling jackass, and he will delay the possible re-emergence of the Bills for years to come.

Didn't Pitt just make him the AD? Or are about to make him the AD?

Why would he leave that easy job to return to a job where he will get fired within 2 years?

He really is a moron

No, he was pressured to leave his coaching position. In return I think they were offering him a job in the athletic department, but not the AD role.

Wanny sabotaged at least 2 potential super bowl runs for the Dolphins.

I'm still waiting for him to be enshrined in the ROD.  Dave?  Jim?
