Nice gesture: Chad OchoCinco, via Twitter, offered to treat 100 people to dinner if they showed up Friday evening at The Crab House in Miami. He ended up paying for 125, totaling about $4,000

I realize 4 grand doesn't mean much to him but it was a pretty cool gesture to give back to some of his fans.  It's also nice to see goos stories some times.

OchoCinco has done that a bunch of times for fans in various cities.

Obviously I root for players based on laundry.  But beyond that Ochocinco is my favorite NFL player.

He does this all the time.  People who follow him on Twitter.  When he's traveling in other cities, he tweets that he'll be at (insert restaurant here) and the first 100 people get dinner on him.

Its a cool thing to do...

Cool but extremely wasteful. I expect to see him on the ever growing list of athletes that are broke once retired (which isn't far off for Chad).

That is pretty cool. I hear

Shaq does this quite often as well.

Larry Fitzgerald posted on facebook just before the Pro Bowl that the first 2 people to meet him at some business he was taking to Hawaii with him all expenses paid for the pro bowl. He did in fact do this as he posted pictures later that week from Hawaii when he was hanging out with the lucky winners during a hang gliding expedition.

I love Ocho, but I do agree with Phishfan...odds are he is gonna be broke within three years of retiring.  But I think he won't have too many problems getting a TV gig.
