After they trade down with Seattle or Pitt, they draft Mallet.

I'm hoping they trade down.  I've heard chatter of a possible deal with Indy.

If they don't deal down, I think the pick is Mark Ingram.

I want them to take Mallet, so they'll take someone else, probably Pouncey because he's the least risky pick or in other words the pick that will get the least amount of criticism from the fans and the media while absolutely not helping the Dolphins win a single game next year.

Miami's first pick: Jake Locker (after a trade down to #22-#25 area and Mallett going before they can take him)

San Francisco's first pick: CB Patrick Peterson

because they won't find a trade partner...

with the #15 in the 2011 nfl draft, the miami dolphins select, mark ingram running back alabama.

If the Dolphins take Pouncey, I'm going to jump off my roof.

Funny, Pouncy is the one pick I see mentioned in this thread that doesn't make me want to vomit.

I wouldn't mind Pouncey.  I've also heard rumors of Tampa trading up with us to get one of the better pass rushers.

If Locker is available they will take him, but he'll most likely go to Minny @ #12.  So it will be Pouncey, which is a good pick.  I just hope Ingraham doesn't go to the Pats, he could shine in that offense.  I'm really disappointed in not having a second round pick, there seem to be alot of good 2nd rounders this year.

i don't get all the pouncey love. he's athletic and can pull, but he's not that inside mauler type that is going to push around the big, vince wilfork type nfl nose guards.

not that many can, but at #15, i would think that is the kind of o lineman you want. anyone watch him snapping the football out of shotgun formation last year? he's definitely not going to be a center in the nfl.

dolphins were #30 in scoring last year, and at #15 you go with a more of a finesse o lineman instead of a skill position? pouncey is certainly an upgrade, and will start right away, but at that spot in the draft the dolphins need to get an impact skill player.

Thank you!  It is important not to get confused with the success Pittsburgh is enjoying with big brother Pouncey.  Not all Pounceys are created equal.  Not saying he's garbage, but with no second round pick, no RB's on the roster, and Henne as your best QB, I think that pick could be WAY better spent.
