Early reports say he had a heart attack while driving.

Rest in Peace Randy!!!

Sorry but I'm on my cell and don't have time to link a story.

The macho man was on the tail end of my professional wrestling watching years. Hate to see him go. It really makes you wonder when wrestling will start to be concerned about the abuses these guys have put themselves through. Time and time again we keep hearing about these guys passing away much younger than they should.

I remember his trademark, "OHHHHHHH YEAH".

Thats kinda messed up. Doesn't deserve to die just because he took steroids.

he was before my professional wrestling consciousness.  For a time though, him and Hogan were absolutely everywhere.

How do you know he was doing steroids?  Not all WWF/WWE wrestlers were doing them.

I am probably the last person that needs to bring up grammar and spelling issues with others, but my editorial eye had to ask Maine about "elluded" in a poking fun at your friends kind of way.

Hate to say it but I agree with MikeO.  Not that Savage should have died, I think that's too bad, but steroids were most likely a contributing factor.  Just read that 25% (14 of 51) wrestlers from Supermania VII are dead-the majority from drug over doses and heart disease/attacks.  Most in their 40's.  Savage's girlfriend died a few years back from a drug overdose.  By comparison all 44 starters from the Superbowl in 1991 are still alive.
