Bulls vs. HEAT

I'm still thinking that the HEAT can win this in 5.  With Haslem giving good minutes each game, the HEAT are tough to beat.  Bosh is also playing well, and Lebron and Wade are able to not carry as much of the load.  I feel very good about it.

I think Miami is getting inside Chicago's collective head at this point...hopefully they stay there until they knock Da Bulls out of Da Playoffs.

Starting to lose hope in a Miami-Oklahoma City NB Finals though. Dallas is really looking like they have what they need to get past the Thunder out West.

If Miami can continue to get good support from guys like Udonis Haslem, Mike Miller and Bibby to go with the Big 3, I think they might have enough to win it all...

How do the Bulls win?

1) They can't score.  Rose isn't a good enough shooter from distance, so he has to get inside.  Asking him to get inside THAT much against our D is just too much.

2) The Boozer problem.  Boozer can't D-up Bosh.  So, they need the points from Boozer, but Bosh outplays him and scores more.  If they pull Boozer to slow down bosh, the replacement player doesn't give you the points.  They are screwed either way.

3) Supporting HEAT.  It was Haslem, then Miller.  If these guys hit open shots, the Bulls just can't cover enough guys.


The way for the Bulls to win is for them to play ridiculous defense, have Rose get to the rack a lot, and to get some breaks.  They ALMOST did that last night.  But over the course of the series, they just can't.

I see the HEAT closing out tomorrow.

I hope the Mavs close it out tonight in the West. I want to see them choke off another championship against the Heat. Man, watching Novitzki kick the training bicycle on the way back to the locker room and watching Cuban's head explode from 2006 still isn't old.

im starting to really wonder that given this heat team, especially in light of a looming nfl lockout, if fans start to lose all interest in the dolphins and miami turns into a basketball city.

the heat have such an exciting product to watch and follow.

I think the Heat are only going to get better next year and the year after that...health allowing. Not only because I think they can't help but improve in how the supporting cast is used around the big-3, but because if the Heat win out this year, watch the veteran FA's out there line up to get a piggyback ride to the jewelry store.

I think the original LeBron "6 or 7" titles projection is pretty unrealistic, but I could see 3-4 titles in a 4-5 year span as being very possible.

Chicago will probably win tomorrow out of desperation.  Then the Heat will finish them off in Game 6 in the Triple A Arena.

I see nothing that tells me that the Bulls will win this game.  Even when the games are close, it's when the Bulls are playing great and the HEAT are not.

The Bulls do not have enough options to score, without severely sacrificing defense.

I agree.  I see how teams are and the home court advantage really makes a difference.  The Bulls had a chance to take all the momentum back in the series and totally blew it in game 4.  There is NO WAY Derrick Rose is going to let his team lose game 5 in Chicago.  This is similar to the Orlando-Cleveland series two seasons ago.

The HEAT proved that they're just the better team.  Down the stretch, they have too many clutch options and their defense is lock-down.  The Mavs series should be interesting, but I think the HEAT can bring home the title.
