I don't think it's that great of a pick up. TO outplayed him last year, and overall, his numbers have been declining for what, 2 or 3 years now? This seems like a "big name" trade, but I'm not willing to say it's as good as you guys are making it out to be. -EK

Look who he has been playing for... just like Moss before he came here.. Chad is going to light it up.. mark my words.. I have been saying that they need to pick him up just last week and to my surprise the Pats were thinking the same..

given how much moss and seymore contributed last year, i'd say they are significantly improved.

x2

Not to mention, when New England grabs "nobody" players everyone sings a "watch them play out of their minds" tune when the Patriots pick them up. But now this is different?

Chad Johnson may have a good year with a better QB and a better scheme IMHO.

  Who does that now?  Mayo?

Plus Wilfork, Welker, Brady.  NEP is not lacking for strong role model leadership.

I would predict this is gonna work out really good for the Pats.  Anybody who says otherwise is just hate'n.

Haynesworth is a dominating player and was just disgruntled about how he was slated to be used.  I am betting he gets into shape pretty quick and retakes his old dominant form.

Ochocinco was on a historical loser team and pulled lots of stunts to compensate.  Now he has a chance to get hall of fame type numbers and elevate his visability without all the ridiculous nonsense.  I am betting he instantly tones it down, gets focused and gives the rest of the AFC east headaches.  Is he Andre Johnson?  No.  But don't be mistaken, the guy is a very good receiver.

Very bad day for the Dolphins, indeed.
