Ted Ginn with a 102 yd KO return for TD, then a 55yd Punt return for TD.  The one thing he was always good at, too bad he can't catch passes.

Ginn's only sin was being drafted too high because he was mistakenly considered a potential starting receiver.

He's a solid return man...that's his role in the NFL.

Agree with Sunstroke. 

Dolphins messed up twice with him.  He was worth more than a 5th and less than a 1st.  Buy high, sell low.

Dolphins were lucky to get rid of him when they did.  The value of a kick returner has gone down significantly with this year's rule changes.

The nicest thing about Ginn this year...he took a major pay cut ($2.2 mil to $1 mil) a couple of weeks ago in order to stay in SF. I'm sure most of that was realization that he wouldn't make much more (if any at all) by leaving as a free agent, but anything that frees up money to add more talent to the roster is OK by me.

The premise of that argument is valid...though I'd like to wait 2-3 weeks to compare premise to actuality. Lord knows, I saw a lot more return men taking the ball out from "deep" in their own end zone in week one, and it certainly didn't seem like we had a shortage of return TDs this weekend.
