If Brian Billick shows up on this team, I swear to christ I'll stop watching football altogether.

I'd also like to see Jeff Fisher.  I think he still wants to coach and has something to prove.  He has a long track record of success.

He has coached a long time, but has no long track record of success. losing record in the playoffs, 0 super bowls, only 6 playoff appearances in 16 years, only 1 super bowl appearance.  The guy isn't a good coach, and the only thing people recognize him for is that he coached a long time in Tennessee.

No need to dream anymore. Dan Pompei is reporting today that Carl Peterson will be the next Dolphins Team President and Ross is prepared to offer a sweetheart deal to Gruden that will be tough for Gruden to turn down. Announcements could happen mid-season or after the season.

Obviously Gruden wouldn't coach this year but the announcement could happen some point later this year

Denzel Washington in Remember the Titans. But I would take Jon Gruden.

We had Soprano er Sporano. Let's try Al Pacino and his Tony D'Amato character from On any Given Sunday!! maybe we can get Cameron Diaz as another celeb coach seeing as how we lost Jenny from the block.

Mike Martz. For those of you who may not be familiar, he's currently the OC for the Bears, but was the OC for the Rams "Greatest Show on Turf" teams, and went 56-36 as their head coahc in a little over 5 seasons. Since he left, the Rams are 18-51. -EK

^^ Only problem with that is that he'd practically have to turn over the entire offense. You need a bunch of fast WR's, a great QB and a great pass-protecting offensive line. Miami has none of that right now. This team was built to run and throw short passes, not to throw caution to the wind and just fling the ball all around the field. On top of that St. Louis played in a dome on turf, which makes a difference. That kind of offense would probably work ok in Miami, but playing in New York, Buffalo or New England in December is not exactly going to work well with that type of offense.

I considered that, but after listening to the members of THIS board, we are going to fire/cut/revamp the entire team anyway, so why not try this, lol? -EK

It worked well in Chicago last year. Real cold and windy up there. NFC Championship game he got that offense too. Just sayin
