... and 1 day.

Though it may be easier for me to do this on Fridays, I am trying to stay true to the weeks similar to that of football weeks (though it never really ends up on Sundays to start the weeks).
So Washington not only lost one game during the week, they lost 2

(can you tell I don't like them). Been sort of out of touch with the hockey world the last couple of days due to work and some personal stuff behind the scenes that sort of kept me away from knowing about a couple of things going on with the NHL.
The Philadelphia Flyers v Winnipeg Jets would have been a great game to watch for the people who keep complaining about the lack of scoring in the league. Problem is when it takes a team a week to score 8 goals, one team scores 8 and
loses the game
… unbelievable. Speaking of the Jets, seems like they are taking off after a rough start because they seem to be climbing out of the basement, not enough to get them to the top 16 like the 6 straight win Sens. How can a team that mostly cores in the third and gives up a ton of goals still end up winning (listed as -8 goal differential)? Translates (to me at least) they get scored on a lot.
Think that covers a lot. Oh yeah Detroit is having issues winning all of the sudden. Since they were pretty much wiped off the map from Washington, they really have not recovered
Here are the standings of week 4 of
if the playoffs started today:

On a side note, if you are really going to badmouth the sport of hockey at least try to post something more inventive. I have pretty much heard it all (most are really lame and dumb) and I really could go on here and make cracks about all the other sports and why I have issues with them…. but I won’t stoop to that level. Just deal with it. Hockey is here to stay.
