He may turn out to be the real deal but I wouldn't go ga-ga over him. Like Stroke said Houston has put out many flops at QB. The 6th year senior thing. The level of competition he plays against.
Not to mention Houston doesn't play against top tier schools. I would spend a later round puck on him but not an early one.

Revisting this topic, Keenum was 45-69 for 533 yards and 3 TD's yesterday against Penn State in the TicketCity Bowl. NFL Draft Scout has him ranked as the # 8 QB, projected to be in the 6th or 7th round. I still think someone will take a gamble on the guy. Not saying he will necessarily pan out, but in the 7th round, there's not a lot of risk. -EK
I'd take him in the 6th or 7th round. The late round picks are where you should gamble.
