This team is like an abusive husband, you just keep coming back no matter how much it hurts you. Let's examine this rollercoaster:

Pre-season: Expectations are in the 7-10 wins ratio, but maybe more if Henne turned a corner. He always had a great arm.

Game 1: Henne looks great, but our defense sucks. Still, things are somewhat positive.

Game 4: We suck.

Game 7: Screw it, just keep losing and get Andrew Luck.

Game 8: Damnit.

Game 9: Again? Jerks!

Game 10: You son of a bitch!

Game 11: Damn, I hate the Cowboys and we gave that game away.

Game 12: We dominated a very good team.

So, I/we go from moderate hopes, to despair, to hope for a #1 overall pick, back to despair and now a sense of "What if?". We all know Miami was never as bad as 0-7, and now we know Miami isn't even as bad as 4-8. I now have a sense of "If we just didn't give games away to Dallas and Denver and Cleveland and the New York Giants, we'd be 8-4 and in the hunt for the division".

At least Moore looks solid and the team never gave up and kept fighting, even with a lame duck coach. So, that's good. I guess.

Me 3. It's an amazingly familiar rundown.

At this point I just try and remember that I have zero control over any of this and look forward to hopefully a good off-season and much better 2012.
