Well cross Billick of the list. Here is the skinny on why he won't be in Miami. He cost Ross $40 million and Ross hasn't forgotten! LOL

Not so much that he cost Ross $40 million from what I read, but the fact that Ross was joking around, and Billick called him out for it in his book.  That's a big no-no.

If Armando is being serious... This is the most retarded perspective on a situation I have ever read from a professional writer.

I am going to predict Billick.  I think Fisher is scared of the Pats ruining his rep and our history of poor ticket sales (which really puts pressure on coaches).  He got beat all those years by Indi and I think he looks at New England the same.  Billick is the biggest name to just be happy with a shot on a team with some talent.  He isn't so egotistical that he can't work with Ireland and some of our other staff.  He has shown that even though his skills are offensive, that he can work with the strengths of his personnel and not get in the way.

To flesh out the news on Fisher, he's apparently at the Rams' facility checking things out and meeting with players.

It's safe to say the Dolphins lost out on Fisher, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.  A "big name" approach has failed three times in the past.

Well I hope things ended nicely with Fisher, because if the Fins want RGIII they will have to make a deal with the Rams for the #2 pick.

Saw this in an article this morning. It kind of sums up our team these days. I really don't expect much in the way of positive moves for Miami any longer as it doesn't appear we get much respect outside of our fan base.

Glazer said the Dolphins are expected to ask permission to interview Zimmer, who has spent the past 12 years as an NFL defensive coordinator — seven with Dallas, one with Atlanta and the past four with Cincinnati. His defense ranked 15th last season and seventh this season. But Zimmer’s defense didn’t play well Saturday in a 31-10 playoff loss to Houston, which was led by rookie quarterback T.J. Yates.

The Dolphins also plan to speak with Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey, whose offense played poorly in Sunday’s 24-2 playoff loss to the Giants.

I can't remember who said it ... it might have been Mike ... but I wish they would look at Jay Gruden. I think Jacksonville is and if they select Jay then I'm bettting a bunch of Central Florida people will focus their attention on Jax instead of Miami. Especially the younger than 40 crowd. This could be good for Jax and Central Florida as I think it's easier to relate to Jax than South Florida these days. It's definitely easier to get to see them on tv.
