Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter:
Jeff Fisher interviewing with the Dolphins today. Arrived in a helicopter with Dolphins owner Stephen Ross.

Todd Bowles interviewed yesterday. Offer to someone probably coming soon.

First question of the interview to Fisher should have been....."how much money ya want?"

Second question:
"what have you done since 2000?"

Let's make Gruden our #1 target, shall we?

Peterson went out to dinner with him before the holidays and offered him the job, Gruden said he wasn't interested in the Dolphins job. Armando is reporting it on his daily morning radio show and he wrote today how Gruden turned down Peterson in his column, the one  with the picture of Fisher/Peterson on the dolphins practice field from this afternoon.

Got a source other than buffoon Salguero?  I don't trust his made-up jibberish to be factual any more than the fodder on these forums.

WHY?!  Gruden is the most overrated coach since Jimmy Johnson..you don't want him.  He won a Super Bowl with a Tony Dungy team handed to him, and then finished under .500 the rest of his stay in Tampa.  And for being "such an expert on the QB position"  how come he never ever had one?

Was Ireland doing the interviewing? Can we get a "was your mother a professional mud wrestler?" question in there?

I will say that if we don't get Fisher or Billick, I'm not opposed to keeping Bowles.

If we are going to plumb the coordinator ranks, why not try promoting from within for once?  (I do not count the crony elevation of Wannstedt as a true promotion from within.)

Yeah, I could see that as well. Keep Bowles, Nolan and Daboll and see how it goes for at least a year rather than cleaning house and starting from scratch. I don't want to see that even if the HC is Fisher. I'd like to see whomever it is come in and tweak a few things here and there, not start overhauling the roster or the coaching staff. The weak link in my opinion was Sparano. Just replace him and see what you got.

No Jeff Fisher.  This franchise has been mediocre long enough.

i'm whatever on fisher... his teams are generally pretty tough, good defense, run-oriented, he would probably fit the "persona" of how parcells/ireland were constructing the fins.

what i don't get is why st louis is an attractive job. that team sucks big time, and bradford was god awful. the rams are pretty devoid of any talent on the entire roster.

sure they have some cap, and some trade bait with the number 2 pick but that doesn't mean they are going to translate in making the team better.

The only thing that's more dead that the "Defense wins championships era"  is the Parcells era in Miami
