Yeah, I said it.
I'm not..not..NOT..saying that Matt Moore is the answer at QB, but he has played his way to deserving a chance to prove us wrong.
By the way, this whole post is based off of me being bored at work and surfing the web. As per wikipedia:
On November 6 he became the first Miami quarterback since Chad Pennington in 2008 to throw three touchdown passes in a game, in their 31-3 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He repeated that feat in week 11 blowing out the Bills 35-8 and had the highest QB rating of any game that week.
I get what you're thinking: "That just proves Chad Henne sucks" Valid. However, it got me thinking just how many QB's have had 3 TD games in the post Marino era. What I found was rather alarming.
Jay Fielder - 6 times in 62 games
Ray Lucas - 0 times in the 7 games he saw the field as a Dolphin
Brian Griese - 1 time. 10/27/2003 against the Chargers
A.J. Feeley - 1 time. 12/5/2004 against the Bills (he also threw 5 picks that game

)
Sage Rosenfels - 0 times in 13 appearances as a Dolphin
Gus Frerotte - 0 times as the 2005 starting QB

Trent Green - 0 times in 4 games in 2007
Cleo Lemon - 0 times in 16 games (8 starts) as a Miami Dolphin
John Beck - 0 times in 5 games played (4 starts)
Chad Pennington - 2 times in 20 starts as a Miami Dolphin
Tyler Thingpen - 0 times in 5 games of action.
Chad Henne - 0 times in 31 starts as a Dolphin
Pat White - .....he actually never completed a pass in the NFL. I'm serious. Google it if you don't believe/remember.
Matt Moore has already done this 3 times this year. He's out performed almost every QB we've seen since Marino, why cast him off because he isn't a household name? I'm just sayin, he has a 2 year contract for a reason. I'll take consistency over a sexy name any day of the week.
