http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thedailydolphin/2012/01/05/report-dolphins-set-to-interview-packers-oc-joe-philbin/

If he comes along, I'm sure he'll bring Matt Flynn with him.  That is intriguing to say the least.

Don't mind the pick in Philbin, but leave that crappy Flynn in GB.  He got one big game against the DET "open the flood gates" Lions and MIA wants him as the starting QB?

no thanks, take my chances with Moore and somebody in the draft.

how many times must 1-hit wonders be exposed to let teams know this type of move does not work out?  let's look at some of MIA's famous moves:

1. Ray Lucas.
Hey, let's pick him up, cause he's so adept at beating us,  let's get him on our side that way he can't beat us!

2. AJ Feeley
this is someone that Jerry Sandusky can get behind with a name like this.  he guided PHI into the playoffs in 2002, winning 4 out of 5 games beofre McNabb took over in the playoffs.  MIA rewards that awesome feat but trading for him with Miami's 2005 second round pick! Awesome indeed!

3.  Joey Harrington
After stinking up the joint in DET (career record 18-37) MIA trades for Harrington in May 2006, for a 5th or 6th round draft pick.  Why would you want some with this type of resume on your team??

The Harrington listed doesn't really back up my argument (he wasn't good), but I just like to point out how much he sucked.

Point is, I would rather take my chances with the know commodity (Moore) or draft a QB in 2012 (move up in draft possibly) then take a chance with Erol Flynn in GB. Does anyone get the types on weapons that GB has?  does this translate in MIA?  No, and neither does Flynn.

^^^^^

At least with Flynn, it only costs money, not draft picks.  You have to roll the dice on this.  Sticking with Moore only makes the Dolphins the same, which isn't good enough.

Flynn won in college when given the chance, to include the NC, and he has won in the NFL when given the chance. So far the guy is a winner. It is not like we are going after a has-bin.

If it only cost money, and not picks, to get Flynn, or for that matter Manning, I'm all for it; IF the Fins are not able to work out a reasonable deal with the Rams to get their pick for RGIII.  Henne is most likely gone with a new coach coming in, so the Fins need a second QB.

He has bigger issues to worry about than the Fin's job.

I hope his son is found and safe.

Gotta tell you, it sucks, and I feel for the family, but that's karma for you. The guy spent six months in jail in 2009 for sexually assaulting two young girls, along with two counts of battery. Any loss of life is sad, but you F with fate, live your life in a screwed up way, and you get got by a higher power. -EK

That's a strange way to look at this. You don't honestly believe that a supreme being would take the life of a person because his father did something horrendous, do you? Why not just punish the father?

The son (the one who died) is the one who spent time in jail for sexual assault, not the father who the Dolphin's were interviewing for a HC job.

Ah, sorry. For some reason I thought he was talking about his father.
