I noticed while looking at the site Dave posted an bought those shirts from, how many different variants there are to shirts...

I'm a T-shirt,and shorts guy (jeans,and Dockers type pants if I must)...

I like...
Round collared T-shirts.. (Recently I bought some style, add an extra seam across the chest, and across the back of the shoulders that are annoying as hell)
Baseball style T-shirts
I really like hats...
Shorts- to the top of the knee
Full button down shirts, bowling shirts,Flannel shirts all good...

Trying to get used to,it really varies on the the cut...
Suit jackets,blazers...

I dislike...
V-neck T shirts..
Polo style shirts - OMG I hate these, and any shirt that has the three button down from the collar.I'm scratching my chest, rubbing my chest hair, then something about the way they fit...
Shorts that are down touch my calves when I walk...I hate those...
Real pointy elf looking shoes
Loafers
Ties
Boxer shorts
I'm also not a fan of silk shirts....

What do you like, what do you dislike?

Mostly jeans and shorts here.  As far as brands, shorts don't matter too much, but for jeans I can't wear anything but Levi. They are the only ones that fit good and feel comfortable to me.

I like....
T shirts
V neck t shirts
Polo, but only RL.
Solid color, no design, long sleeve button down shirts. Almost never wear them due to weather around here.
Slacks, dress shirts, and tie. Very rarely....

I Dislike.....

Khakis or Dockers type pants. I will not wear khakis or dockers type pants for any reason whatsoever.
Absolutely no jean shorts(jorts) or shorts that go below the bottom of the knee cap, they both look like shit to me.
No short sleeve button up shirts unless left unbuttoned over a v neck or wife beater.
No boxer shorts.

Blacks, grays, blues, browns, whites, off whites and darker colors. I try to keep it simple as far as colors go. Absolutely no bright colors or pastel colors. People try to put together all those silly colors and they just look goofy. Steve Harvey and his striped or bright double breasted clown suits come to mind, ha ha.

Even worse than what people wear, is that too many people wear clothes that don't fit properly and in the process look kinda slob like.Too many people that I see are wearing clothes that are sized up and far too big for them.

Jean-shorts, T-shirts or sleeveless T's for a comfortable day.

Only wear pants during the 3 days a year when it gets cold down here Miami.

How people double up on shirts or wear long sleeved shirts and wear pants in this oven is beyond me.

I have a semi-related question:

Are denim shorts ("jorts") considered "trashy" among your peer group?

I don't mean cutoffs or whatever... I mean retail shorts made of denim.

I wouldn't say trashy. Personally I just think they look goofy on all guys. All of them, from the nut hugger tight ones and carpenter Jorts that the white guys wear to the baggy woman carpri looking mid calf length ones that the Black and Hispanic guys wear. Outlaw jorts, all of them. Don't mind them on females as long as they don't go much past mid thigh.

To answer Spiders question...

Trashy- depends on the situation....Walking into a nice restaurant,trashy....Wearing them to the movie theater...not trashy....

I don't wear them,for comfort reasons,fit (I have a the worst time buying jeans),but wouldn't knock a buddy for wearing them.

Going down the river in jorts....I'd offer something else to wear if that's all they have, even if wearing my stuff makes them look like they're wearing a kilt....Then again, most of my friends would have cut them up to make them look like cut offs anyways... Undecided

On women,as long as they don't wear the country jeans with no back pockets (insert puking smiley here),they're fine....I love beautiful backsides, and those jeans...Yuck...

I'm wearing "jorts" right now but I know that clothing rules are quite different for us ladies.

I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl (including skinny jeans)

I don't know if it's a cultural thing, but the only shorts I would wear in public are all made of denim, and most of my black or Hispanic friends would either be wearing denim shorts or pro-basketball-style shorts (which I only wear as sleepwear).

I've heard many white people express great disdain for "jorts" but I just don't get it.

I like to dress up for work:

-- slim-fit shirts
-- ties, including bow-ties
-- pants, preferably that are tapered
-- sweaters, on occasion
-- pointy shoes, but not super-duper pointy
-- I also like the occasional cuff-link, tie clip, etc.

I still can't buy jeans either unless it's Levis. 501 used to be comfortable to me when I was larger, but now 514 slim cut fits much better for some reason. I guess because I'm somewhat smaller than I used to be.

I really only like regular pockets on the rear of female jeans. The ones with no back pockets or the pockets with the top flaps just don't do an ass justice if you ask me, ha ha. Shit I'm still trying to figure out if I like the female low cut jeans of today or the tight as hell groupie look from the late 80s better  Evil

Nah, I know plenty of white people that rock the jorts. But you guys usually wear a different type of jorts than we do, at least around here they do. But alas, I dislike them equally for different reasons. Hell, too much talk of this makes my head hurt. I think I need to start drinking--------------> Like now, ha !!!

Dressing for work, I like wearing comfortable Levis, a short sleeved dress shirt and a pair of hightops.

Dressing for off work, I like wearing an Indiana Jones hat, a leopard print thong and tap shoes.
