One of my favorite people passed away today.  They've since changed the rules of who can be in the dug out, around the club house, etc - but when I was still covering the Red Sox, I always loved hanging out with Johnny and bending the guy's ear, or having him bend mine.  What a wonderful man, gone at age 92.

I'll miss you, Johnny.  I'm glad to have known you.

I am not sure who this man was but it sounds like he was very dear to you Maine. May he Rest In Peace and I am sorry for your loss.
