Correct, but he's the guy that picked the players that play like shit on Sunday.  What has Ireland done in 4 years that deserves his stay?  Correct answer: Nothing!!


I don't understand some people on these boards.  They want everything to take "time to develop" but pulling the plug on young players after 1 - 2 seasons is completely okay.   



Bottom line:  Ireland is fucking clueless.  It's really not even a discussion.

^^^^ But Complaining Endlessly,and endlessly,thread,after thread about Ireland...Then starting more threads,just to complain about Ireland in hindsight,after commenting in 3 other threads that Ireland should be fired,or Sucks .....that makes a whole lot of sense.... Roll Eyes  The horse is dead,we get it,you can stop kicking it...

My point is to all the people that post constantly about Firing Ireland....

Saying on a message board Ireland Sucks,Fire Ireland til,starting thread after thread,Boiling everything said to Ireland sucks till your fingers fall off....Isn't going to get him fired...

It's just makes all of us on the message board look a bunch of tools,no better than a commenting section under any article......Like a bunch12 year olds with a penthouse magazine.....

Save the time,put it as your signature,under your avatar....

I direct your attention to my picture of the airplane banner asking for Ross to fire Ireland.  With a caption reading "excuse me, while I kiss the sky."  I thought it was a clever play on words, involving Hendrix..what more can you ask for?  lol but I get your point:  I'll leave my Ireland hatred towards a 'you, understood' thing v.s. posting so often

Ireland should have been fired with Sparano. But he wasn't.

I'm not ok with starting over every season. I'm not ok with the "keep firing everyone until we win something" mentality.

I actually think Ireland has done some things well this year. But of course most people have a bug up their ass about him and won't stop to see that.

I just want a little consistency to make us stop looking like the NFL's revolving door. That reputation hurts far more than anything Jeff Ireland has done.

Very early still to speculate much about this. Only 1 game has been played and it was vs a team Miami never had a shot of beating. Come Week 9 or so once half the season has been played then we will all have a better idea of what this team is and where they are going. If the young kids Ireland has brought in are starting to improve and pay off. Until then its just way too early.

I mean if Miami is getting beaten badly by the likes of Oakland, Arizona, Indy,...etc then there is a serious issue. If Miami is winning some games vs the bad teams, and hanging in there vs the good teams then there is a little something to build on and making a change would be silly.

Week 1 has just been played, very early.

Why is everyone giving Miami a free pass with the idea that Houston was a team they "never had a shot of beating" ?? You take away Tannehill's 3 INTs and the field position it gave the Texans, and the defense held Houston to a 10-9 Dolphins win. -EK

Also....I know it was only 1 quarter, but who wasn't excited at how we were manhandling the Texans for the 1st 15 minutes.

Should have been 10-0...then the turnovers happened and turned the tide!
