Agree. I have a hard cased Samsonite full sized suitcase I keep all my hats in (holds about 70) and have some really sweet Fin caps. None of the new ones are better than what I have. Also, I only wear them for the game. Then, right back to the case. I have some jerseys (signed) I have never wore.

The hat on my Labrador in the avatar, Dan, yes after Marino, is one of my all time favorites. I have only lost one in all my years of collecting and that was after the Fins gave up a huge lead and lost to the jests on MNF. I took my hat and jersey and threw them in the fireplace.

Just a note. I have seen a disturbing trend where companies are making merchandise. in off team colors. I ain't buying! Do you really want a red Fin hat??? Give me orange, aqua and white or give me death. lol

I can't justify paying over $15 for a hat.

The 40th anniversary hat they gave away at the Raider game are already all over E-Bay and it looks like they will go for 30 dollars or more.

Agreed.  The price of these hats is ridiculously inflated.  They've switched to New Era and now the hats are like $31.  It's crazy.

Agreed on the price seems high this year...

The other thing that bothers me too many "throwback" Hats....I'm not buying the same,or just slightly different hat I have sitting on my dresser I bought 15-20 years ago.In most cases at least double the price what I originally bought the hat for... Huh

Glad to see there are a few of us in the "Hat a year Club"... Cheesy

"official" New Era MLB caps are $35 everywhere.  Just like jerseys were $40 when everyone made them, and now are $100.  Thank your exclusivity agreements.

Last football hat I bought was the 2003 NEP superbowl July 2005 for $2.

Wait until 2014 and you can get the 2012 version for under $5.

It will only be a matter of time until knockoffs are on the black market. You should see the Rolex I bought on Canal street (NYC) for 20 bucks. lol

Brian sent me a hat last year that I have worn quite a bit. While I do not normally buy a new hat every year I saw one on Saturday I really liked for $25.00 and I picked it up. The pictures kind of suck and don't do the hat any justice.

I will be wearing this hat to the game this weekend as well.
