THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: September 26, 2012, 12:59:44 pm »

So, I was thinking they should go for two after the Hail Mary.  The defense is stunned and you are riding a wave of emotion.  I say go for the victory right then and there.  The Broncos did that against the Chargers in 2008.

What would you have done in that situation

go for the tie and try again later.  The overtime rules now take emphasis off the coin toss.  Too much riding on one play if you don't make it you lose.

The Lions snapping that ball on 4th down in OT was crazy stupid.

And wasn't the play call, of course. They were just trying to draw them off-sides.
