carpenter 2nd week in a row.   he makes that kick, overtime is not even an issue!!!!!  also 2nd week in a row...   its ok for our kicker to miss but 2 weeks in a row the other teams kickers win the game and that's ok???  why didnt they miss???   because carpenter SUCKS!!!!!

Just for the record - Have you watched the kicking in New England? It's not just Carpenter.

I am totally OK with Naanee getting the choice.  I still choose Carpenter, as I think that you have to make kicks in your range (especially when you missed 2 the week before, but I might be spilling my anger over from week to week.)

^^ nothing wrong with that.  If he keeps missing kicks the anger is going to build week to week.

Kickers have a fragile psyche. Hell, he may never recover from last week. There is a reason they are always seen sitting alone. 95% of kicking is mental. Only the other 10% is physical.

As a former kicker, I agree somewhat, but the percentages you give are bit skewed.

How about the play calling towards the end of the game?  We had Bush going well, and then they calls a pass which leads to the sack and fumble.

Well, John Madden always said 90% of the game is half mental.  Can't argue with that.

We ran for 80 yards and passed for 450.

I think that quote is attributed to Yogi Berra about baseball.

So it is.  I've got used to hearing it on Madden's video game.

I think that there are now enough votes for a consensus.  It was neck and neck for a while, but someone finally broke free from the pack.  Goat Trailer updated.
