^^^ How many Super Bowl Appearances?? How many big playoff wins?  9 or 10 wins in their division usually wins the division lately.

Saw a funny post on facebook the other week when the Cowboys beat the Giants.  There was a picture after the game with Eli congratulating Romo, with a caption that had Eli saying "congrats you finally won one, now go home and get your f%$#ING shine box my rings need polishing"

Actual number 72.9.

60 TDs/ 55 Int.  Closer to about the same than about double.

More like 54.8%.

All of this would be correct if I were talking about someone other than Romo. As I was discussing Romo (in repsonse to "I could never understand why the Cowboys stick with Romo.") Sanchez's stats are not what I was referring to. -EK

I get that, but as a Miami fan, you should realize how hard it is to have a QB with numbers anywhere near that good for a consistent amount of time. Who are you going to replace him with? Last night's game was against the Bears, who are a pretty good D, not like playing the Titans or Raiders. -EK

LOL, not even going to dispute that- but he's still not as bad as people are making him out to be. His career numbers are comparable to those guys I listed. Lot of teams would kill for a QB like that. -EK

Yes, I knew that. Look up puking-down-the-leg-at-crunchtime-loser and there will be a pic of Romo.

^^He's not NEARLY as good as the Cowboys fans believe he is. He has some great games no doubt but he also has had more than a few head scratching moments. He's actually similar to Jay Cutler in a lot of ways. When he's good, he's VERY good, but if he's bad, watchout because he still thinks he can make every throw even when he probably can't which is what I thought happened to him last night a bit.

They aren't going to get rid of him because they don't have anyone better and really haven't been looking to replace him, but his time is starting to run out. He only has maybe another 2 year window before they start to look for his replacement.

With Tebow and Sanchez the Jets have 2 QB's with 1st round NFL contracts (before the rookie wage scale) and they just gave Sanchez a big extension a few months back anyway. They are in salary cap hell with 2 very bad QB's.  Not to mention they are stuck with that clown Holmes and his big contract.

If they start Tebow it is gonna be outstanding! Truly outstanding. Because unlike last year he has NO RB's to bail him out. No elite kicker to make big 50+ yard kicks to bail him out. No good WR's to bail him out on his awful passes.  He will be on an island by himself to fail in front of the world.
