I agree with a lot of what FYO posted, and since I have to choose 1 person....I'm going to go with Joe Philbin.

The last two games, the whole team has played scared, like we're waiting for something bad to happen. Not enough "Us" making it happen...

Gotta go with Nolan Carroll but I don't fault people for blaming Tannehill.  The guy consistently crumbles under pressure.

Didn't Tannehill throw an interception in the EXACT same way as that last one? Long bomb to the a receiver sprinting down the left sideline beating his coverage, but the safety makes it all the way across for a driving catch.

I don't fault Tannehill for that pick.  The safety made an incredible play.  That should have by all rights been an incompletion.

There are a lot of players to choose from, but I'm going with someone from the offensive line.  I know Martin is a rookie, but he looked terrible all night.  He played most of the game on his back.  At 315 pounds, if he just leans forward, wouldn't he be tough to move?  It's been a long time since I've since someone beaten so badly, so often.  His poor play was often the reason Tannehill had no time, and there were no holes for Bush and Thomas.

Honorable mentions
-Tannehill.  He looked bad all night.  On the few occasions when he had time, he was indecisive and missed open receivers.  That miss across the middle made me cringe.  You have to hit that.
-Nolan Carroll.  He really shouldn't be on the field
- Carpenter. Yet another miss that could have changed the way we played the final drive

CF is right about the talent level lacking.  Lot's of places where we need to upgrade to be competitive.

Hard to pick one in the all around suck fest I watched last night.....but I am giving mine to Carroll. He was downright shitty last night and he kept multiple drives going with his complete fuckery.

I am not sure why this kid stil has a job!!!!!!

Because he's still the 2nd best corner on the team.  *shudder*    Ugh, it hurt to write that sentence.

And that falls on Ireland's shoulders and no one else.  It isn't Philbin's fault that Ireland and Parcells were so fixated on offensive linemen, linebackers, and running backs.

I don't know how anyone can blame a defensive player.

Because Nolan Carrol is a walking pass interference penalty. Only being able to look back and forth at the TV, he was getting beat up every time I looked up it seemed. The offense was hardly on the field long enough for me to see the mistakes.

They scored 12 freaking points on the D and didn't give up a TD even on the turnovers. That's good enough for most teams to win.

Yes, but we're not talking about the defensive unit.  We're talking one player.  Carroll was awful.  He had many chances to make plays and ended up with interference penalties each time.

More like I'll give him a resounding "F" in need addressing and talent evaluation.

Was it a 50 yard attempt Carpenter missed?  My memory seems to think it was shorter.  Then again, I was watching the game while battling a huge stomachache for overeating.  That didn't compare to the stomachache I had after the game.

What about the offensive linemen or running backs who were completely ineffective against literally the worst run defense in the league?  Daniel Thomas had 33 yards on 12 carries and Bush had 20 yards on 10 carries.  Against the worst run defense in the league, mind you.

Even with all of Carroll's problems, the defense held BUF scoreless in the second-half and gave up only field goals in the first half.
