THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: November 15, 2012, 11:33:50 pm »

Carpenter.  I don't know what it will take for these coaches to get rid of this guy.

Honorable mention to the refs because the OPI call was garbage.

Second Honorable mention to Tannehill because he played horrible.  That missed open receiver really stands out in my mind.

I can't decide between Bush, Long and Martin they all were HORRIBLE. I had Bess in here too until he pulled out a reception on that last drive that was actually a nice play and I'm forgetting about his TD catch which was really nice, but he's got to make an effort to try to break up that INT, he just watched the DB catch it and then avoided making contact with him. If I didn't know better I'd swear that was Ted Ginn Jr out there.

While Nolan Carrol did suck balls, Tannehill tossed salad.  He was missing receivers in every possible direction.  Carrol did suck, but Tannehill gargled my anus.

I'm sure dumbasses want to blame Carpenter for missing a 50 yarder, but Tannie was on the field missing everyone, including Clay on an easy TD, throughout the game.

This was a team loss for sure, but Tannehill was by far the worst player on a shitty, shitty team tonight.

Tannehill.  He's gotta make more plays in the passing game.

Defense: Nolan Carroll.  Clearly our secondary problems aren't going to get any better.

Special teams:  The punt return unit.

Mine goes to Mike Sherman.  Against a shitty defense, this offense did not show up to play.

What didn't stink? Jones and Carroll set the tone of the game with some of the worst football I've seen in a long time. Jones at least started playing well towards the end of the first half, but Carroll just sucked throughout.

The offensive line was TERRIBLE. Martin, Jerry, and Incognito played some horrible ball. Defenders with their hands down were allowed to rush untouched. Martin couldn't stop my grandmother if she could make a simple swim move. Clay blew his assignment multiple times. Double-teamed defenders were being allowed free jumps in the air to try and get a hand on passes...

What a crap-fest.

Oh, and Tannehill was playing scared the whole game.

Want to know how you f'k up your paying game? Keep the tight-end in to protect on every down, keep a back in as well. And still allow a defender to get nearly untouched to the quarterback.

We're keeping so many guys in, there's no one to pass the ball to. The Bills could double every receiver and still get pressure on the quarterback. Ridiculous.

I'm giving my shame ball to Carroll. But the competition for that thing is fierce.

"RT1." Been telling you all year. Tipped passes two games in a row. Can't win in the fourth AGAIN. A leopard doesn't change it's spots. -EK

Jeff Ireland.

The guys are no longer over-performing and the truth has come back to light. We do not have play makers. Even the offensive line, where he has been taking his safe picks, has not proven to be effective.

I went in to the season thinking we were short a wide receiver or two, a tight end, a linebacker and defensive back but it is obvious we need much more than that. We need someone else to select some talent.

I was only able to glance back and forth at the game due to my pool team commitments. I did however see Carroll get four penalties (does anyone know how many he was called for in total). This guy blows.

Gotta go with Nolan Carroll but I don't fault people for blaming Tannehill.  The guy consistently crumbles under pressure.

I didn't see the game but from what everyone is saying, no matter how many people we have pass-blocking, rushers are getting to him consistently and we have no receivers that are real playmakers, and no rushing game to speak of. Did he crumble under pressure of the game or crumble because no one was blocking for him?

I don't know how anyone can blame a defensive player. They gave up 4 field goals for 12 points. Can they play better? Absolutely, but they didn't lose the game.
