Horrible news!

As if that is not bad enough.....

If someone has decided to take their own life, I don't understand why they would kill someone else and why they need an audience. The people that witnessed this tragedy will never get the picture out of their mind.

^^^^

It could be that either he was trying to escape the legal ramifications of murdering his girlfriend or he couldn't live with himself after what he did.  Either way, his eternal fate is much worse than life in prison.

He was probably "on something" as well. Maybe to many steroids or he took too many shots to the head. Like those loser fake pro wrestlers who often snap and do something stupid and all end up dead before they turn 40!

The NFL shouldn't play a game there tomorrow either. Move the game  one day to Monday night,  but I wouldn't hold a game at that stadium less than 24 hours after a suicide took place there by one of the players. And if any of those players "honor" this guy by writing his number on the tape on their wrists or pointing to the sky or anything fine and suspend them as well. This guy is a murderer not some fallen hero by any means!

A sad situation, for sure... Obviously there is a lot of "why" information missing, but you just hate to see anyone die that young.

Unless you're being completely facetious there, your statement is 100% USDA choice horseshit.

According to your preferred work of fiction, anyway... In the really-real world, his "eternal fate" is pretty much the same as everyone else that dies.

That's an excellent observation and sensual description Mr. Sunstroke.  Do you speak from experience?

You believe what you believe, and I will believe what I believe.  When we die, we will find out whose beliefs were right and whose were wrong.  Until then, let's not breed religious drama.

How about the coaches that had to witness him shoot him self in the head.. How could you even sleep after some shit like that. I think that they should have called the game off.

Let's not spread rumors about something you have no clue about.  Plenty of people commit murder and/or suicide without being on something.

It's a tragic situation for all the survivors left behind.  The NFL is making a big mistake in letting this game go forward.  It's a cop out to push it onto the Chiefs, then the front office pushes it onto the coach and players.  The people with the authority to stop the game should have stepped up and cancelled the game.   There is no way the players can put this out of their minds, injuries just waiting to happen from this distraction.

Not a rumor, just an opinion!

The moment of silence before the game was BULLSHIT too. This wasn't a domestic violence issue, it was a "MURDER"!!

Typical Mike comment, Pats2006. The wrestlers in question (guessing he means noteably, Benoit) had therapeutic doses of test in their systems upon autopsy, but suffered from severe brain trauma. -EK

I wouldn't call it a myth. You might not want to believe it, but many people do. So there is a difference of opinions on this issue. Get a wack job who is on roids and he might do crazy things (even murder if he is in the wrong frame of mind). It will be interesting to see if any toxicology reports come back from this player and we find out what if anything was in his system.

But the toxicology reports for those wrestlers did NOT show high levels. So...you're POV is a myth. -EK
