It's simple really. Just ask Vernon Davis and Frank Gore to switch places with Fasano and Bush for 1 game. It's just 1 game. They don't really need to win this game anyway.

Nah...all that would do is get Frank and Vernon hurt. We wouldn't want that. Wink

1. Turn on the Wii.
2. Put the difficulty level on "rookie ".
3. Play game.

Don't forget to turn the human WR catching & rush/pass blk way up.
And turn the CPU rush blk & tackling way down.
Enjoy.

I think you guys are giving SF way too much credit.  Yes they are very good.

They will depend on a low-scoring defensive game though.   Their quarterback only has a couple starts under his belt.  If the pass coverage plays like it did last week where we didn't really get smoked by anybody, and the offense isn't stuck in neutral for the whole goddamn first half, we can sneak up on this team and beat them just like the Rams did.

Vernon Davis, and Frank Gore....I'm a little more worried about Navorro Bowman, Patrickk Willis..and the Smith's from the Mizzou....Aldon and Justin...

I've got a feeling dinner's gonna be ruined tomorrow night... Cry

The 49ers couldn't beat the Rams in two tries, but Miami needs some sort of miracle to win?

They might. The Rams matched up better than Miami, apparently.

* The 49ers are No. 1 in the league in yards allowed per play. The Dolphins are 25th offensively in yards per play.

* The 49ers have allowed the second-fewest rushing yards per attempt. The Dolphins are averaging more yards per rush than only 11 teams.

* The 49ers have allowed the second-fewest passing yards. The Dolphins are 23rd in passing yardage.

I think it will be a close game, though 24-14 is my prediction. -EK

I hope it is closer than I expect, because what I expect is a pretty thorough drubbing.

Hope...   SF 31, Miami 23
Expect... SF 31, Miami 13

I'm a little more worried about Navorro Bowman, Patrick Willis..and the Smith's from the Mizzou....Aldon and Justin...

That front seven is chock full o' scary dudes...no doubt about it. We definitely appreciate Mizzou's contribution. Grin

Don't get too upset, the whole thread has been tongue in cheek.

Another side note... In his first 28 games as an NFL head coach, Jim Harbaugh has not lost two games in a row.

There is a good article in Grantland this week about Harbaugh's value...
