Defensive back Dunta Robinson, defensive end John Abraham and running back Michael Turner were released.
Should the Dolphins go after any of these guys?

Robinson is talented, but the other two are finished.
I agree. Sign Robertson and trade for Revis and the Dolphins corners are instantly upgraded

Trade valuable draft picks and THEN pay top corner salary for a guy coming off a torn ACL?? Good thing you're not a professor of business or something.
Trading for Revis would be great...if you're a Jets fan.
Revis has much less leverage in contract talks right now than he did a year ago and it is due to that torn ACL. For the same reason, his trade value is much lower. Just my opinion but I think he can be had for a second rounder.

no way in hell you get Revis for a 2nd rounder. Going rate is a first rounder plus a 2nd or maybe another first rounder.
No way a team will pay two first rounders for a guy who is coming off an ACL injury. Especially if there is the risk that they only get him for one year. not trading/paying a guy who blew his knee out on a play WITHOUT CONTACT.
even is he was healthy and was on the trading block, no way the jets would trade their "best" player to their biggest rival.
You're right. Generally you don't trade within your division. But it has been done before.

Exactly. Revis is more valuable to the jets than anywhere else. They priced themselves out of possible trade. Much like with Sanchez. The problem is, he sees himself as $16 mil material. The rest of the league doesn't. That's why I don't see a trade happening.
