A friend is a NY Islanders fan.  He said that the fans hated their logo change and they changed it back after 2 seasons.  Keep hating -- there's hope after all.

The Islanders' logo today is, imo, one of the ugliest logos in professional sports. The logo that only lasted two years ('95-'96) was a total break-away from their traditional logo, but it was pretty ugly too, imo.

If the "clown collars" are the only bit of non-white color in the entire uniform, then leave them right where they are.  I hope that mockup is wrong.

They aren't even the worst in hockey. I think the Ducks win that prize. The NBA has several terrible logos and MLB only has two teams no using the latter of the city as a logo. How unoriginal can they make an entire league?
