^^^ And how much jail time did you serve for strangling that guy to death?

I've seen Pink Floyd twice, Roger Waters twice and David Gilmour once. I've been pretty fanatical about Pink Floyd since I was just a wee rocker. The only band (and solo members) that I've seen more than Floyd is Blue Oyster Cult (6 shows).  Grin

Your namesake (Phish) is at the top of my list of bands I've never seen, but reeeeeally want to.

$75 for Ozzfest in 2001 at St. Pete. Don't remember how much parking was. All I know is don't go to an outdoor concert/festival, hungover, in Florida, in August. I think this was the show that told me that pit days were numbered. Still, one of the best days of my life.

$600 for 2 tickets to go see the Police's first reunion concert a few years ago.  Insane seats....so close to the stage.  Totally worth every penny.

^^^ The Police definitely put on a helluva concert...though I saw them a bit before they got into the $300/ticket range. Sting was pretty awesome on his own as well.

This is going to sound horrible, Embarrassed ...In my case (most of the time),It's been someone has backed out, someone won tickets,we knew someone that was working the concert, the tickets were usually given to me, or someone else paid for them. At times I've offerd to pay for the tickets, but ended up paying for the ride to get there,gas,etc,etc...

Part of the problem is I don't live in a big city, and most acts tend to go to Tulsa,Little Rock,Columbia,St. Louis,Kansas city. So $50 a ticket (low end),$50- $100 to drive to go see them,Typically a hotel,or motel to crash at..I've REALLY got to want to see that person...

There are few concerts I'd love to see...Kenny Chesney,Garth Brooks,Paul McCartney,U2,Sammy Kershaw,Toby Keith,the Who,Def Leppard,Bon Jovi,Heart....

Then there is that list, that maybe 10 years ago I'd loved to see,but now that I'm older (and they're up there TOO)I'd probably pass on now...  Kiss, the Orginal Black Sabbath line up,Ozzy by himself.

I'm too much of a pussy as I've gotten older to put up with the people at the concert, and don't think the show would be that great to put up with the idiots...

^^^^^ Lil B, I've had the privilege of seeing many acts in my day. I understand not wanting to put up with other's BS. Just stay away from general admission. You're paying to see your favorites perform your favorites. I was fortunate enough to see Pantera twice. If I backed out then, there would be no chance for a show today. R.I.P. Dimebag. Anyways, that's just my two cents. Having seen Ozzy alone & with Sabbath, I would go again.
