I will admit I have a Muse channel on my Pandora.

Me too...and a My Chemical Romance channel. The MCR channel is usually my default starting point when I fire Pandora up lately.

I run to MCR and people think that is so weird. I LOVE Gerard Way. So shoot me.

I love MCR, pretty much every song I've ever heard. So distinctively different than any other band out there. I think of them as a modern version of Pink Floyd (my all-time favorite band). I really-really-really wish I'd been able to see them in concert, because from the few live videos of MCR that I've seen, they look like they put on one hell of a show.

I'm going to give 2 examples, with completely opposite reactions attached to them, but these are the only ones I can think of now:

Muse - Supremacy

3 Doors Down - When I'm Gone

I am sure there are more, but I'll keep it in mind as I go about my days.

That's not weird, I do to! Famous Last Words down the final stretch always generates a sprint finish.

On Muse, I find them quite hit and miss, I think they have a few excellent songs and the rest is a bit 'meh', but when they hit it it's awesome and right up my street and I've heard they're amazing live.

^^ I feel the same about Muse.  Some of it is awesome, and so different than others.  If its not awesome, its crap.  But, somehow they are quite popular.

To my knowledge I had my first experience listening to anything by Muse last night. It was OK. I feel it could grow on me.

No Personal Jesus?

Good song, but not one that really makes me "feel." If I was going to include a Depeche Mode song that is (loosely) religious-themed and makes me feel, it would definitely be my favorite DM tune... "Blasphemous Rumours."

Bumpty-bumpty-bump
(Cibola, my life for you!)

Added to the list...pretty much any song on Concrete Blonde's album "Bloodletting." Johnette Napolitano's voice is about as sexy as it gets!

I have the greatest wife in the world and wouldn't want to be married to anyone else but her.  But having said that, the old Dan Fogelberg song, "Auld Lang Syne" about bumping into his old girlfriend always makes me melancholy about several old "lost loves" from my life.
