You're concerned about the defense over the offense? The defense is easily the biggest strength we have.

Huh?

Gone is the starting RB, Bush, who played in 31 of 32 games the last two seasons, scored (6) TD's both years, and rushed for 1086 yds and 986 yds.

His replacements:

Lamar Miller - UNPROVEN.  Only played in 13 games last year, only 1 TD, and 250 yds.

Daniel Thomas - two seasons of injuries, only played in 25 of 32 games, total of 906 yds and 4 TD's for the two seasons combined.

If either of these guys were very good they would have been starting ahead of Bush.  I sincerely hope they both have breakout seasons and live up to what was expected of them when they were drafted.  However, I don't know how you can't see RB as an issue MikeO.

I dont think Bush was any good last year. And RB is the most easily replaceable position on an NFL team these days

Your right MikeO, Bush wasn't that good last year.  Leading the team in TD's, edging out Fasano who had (5) (who also sucks) is nothing.  He was only 17th in the NFL in total rushing yds and 12th in rushing TD's.  Yeah, 1,000 yard rushers are a dime a dozen, I was wrong.  Not to mention it was probably the stellar offensive line and WR corps last year that allowed him to get what little he did get.  Roll Eyes

1,000 yard rushers are a dime a dozen... all it comes out to is 62 yards a game over the course of the season! And he didn't even reach 1,000 yards last year he fell just short of it! He only had 2 games of over 100 yards last year, Week 2 and Week 15 (vs the Raiders and Jags 2 of the worst defensive teams in the league). But he did have 4 games where he ran for 26 yards or less!!

He is a nice player but it isn't a huge loss. And obviously the organization agrees because they did nothing this offseason to add to the position and are replacing him in house.

1.  How capable is this offensive line and can it hold up over the course of the season?

2.  How helpful will the tight ends be in the passing game?

3.  Is Lamar Miller ready to assume the role of the featured back?

That's what is expected, but do we really know that? There have been a lot of changes on D as well. I'm not concerned more about the defense, but I wouldn't say it's not a concern either.
