9-7

Split with the Pats, beat both Jets and Bills twice, plus wins against Browns, Bucs, Chargers, and Panthers.

8-8

-Tough Schedule (if Miami opened 1-4 or 0-5 but finished really hot I wouldn't be shocked at all)

-Lack of Offensive Playmakers (Not enough weapons in the passing game, 1 WR and 1 TE short and probably a decent back-up RB shy as well)

-Counting on a lot of young players in big roles (Martin, Tanehill, Miller, Vernon, rookie CB's, Sims, Jordan..etc) could see a lot of growing pains this year with this team.

This Dolphins team is 1 year away from being in the mix in the AFC.

8-8

Sweep Jets, Bills.  Wins against Chargers, Panthers, Browns, and one of this group: (Colts, Bengals, Bucs)

I think weak Offensive Line might be our downfall.

12-4

Because our defense rocks and our offense will score points.

I don't see more than 4-5 losses on the schedule.  Miami goes 12-4, 11-5 and wins the AFC East this year.  This team will be a lot better than most people think...and NE won't be the meat grinder everyone expects.

I hate being the Negative Nancy, but I expect a slight backslide from last season...

6-10

O-line issues and offensive skill position issues being the reason.

On the positive side, I do see 3 of the 6 wins coming against AFC East opponents (sweep Jets, split with Bills), a 2nd place finish in the AFC East and a top-10 finish as a scoring defense this season.

...and I earnestly hope I am 100% wrong about the record.

10-6 and a wild card playoff appearance.

Stroke, I hope you're wrong as well because anything less than a playoff appearance would be a major disappointment after the money this team spent this offseason.

7-9 (Just to be a hair different...We'll pull out 1 surprise win, that will be overshadowed by some other team,or something else that happens in the league...)

I think my reasons are the same as the other have mentioned...

- O-line,and lack of quality depth (just picked up Watkins,I know nothing about him...) I think will really hurt us if a starter gets hurt.

- Red zone issues - I don't see us being a good running team, and I'm not sure who will be "the guy" Tannehill can trust to throw the ball too in the endzone. I have Zero faith in Mike Wallace. (I'll be good, only mention) I like Hartline, and Gibson, lack of a good Te...I just don't see them as big threats near the goal line...

-We're capable of the "big play" but struggle with making the routine play we need...I think we'll be that team, that can score 40 if we hit the big plays, but just as easily score 12 on all field goals...

I'm not as excited about our defense as others....Just personal feeling...

My prediction is a 9-7 season.

I think we will just miss out on the playoffs.

Yeah, when you wear that pirate's eye patch, it really fucks with the ol' depth perception. Wink

It depends. If the running game can take the pressure off of #17, they could go as high as 9-7 and miss the playoffs.

Otherwise, I can see a 6-10 record. The loss of Keller & a healthy Jake Long play a role in this. They needed Keller to open up the deep threat with Wallace. And Martin is no Long.

Either way its one more year in the development of Tannehill. Go Dolphins!
